While on a morning outing at Oscar Scherer State Park, I saw one of my favorite birds in Florida - The Swallow-tailed Kite. While walking through the campground, I saw a Swallow-tailed Kite flying over the pine trees about 40 yards away. I set myself up in a position where there was a clear canopy overhead and waited. After a few minutes, the Kite flew directly over me with perfect light and a beautiful blue sky background.
